CIBER Develops Online Enrollment System For GM OnStar
When purchasing a new car, OnStar customers automatically receive a complimentary one-year enrollment in the OnStar service. Dealers enrolled new customers by one of two methods -- phoning the OnStar Call Center and providing information to an enrollment advisor or by pressing the OnStar Blue Button in the vehicle and reading the information to an advisor, both of which required manual data entry. OnStar needed an easy-to-use, cost-effective means for dealers to register and service their customers quickly.
