MICHIGAN AREA DIRECTOR
Dan joined CIBER in November 2002 as Director of Sales for CIBER’s Detroit, Michigan office, one of the largest of CIBER’s 60 U.S.-based offices. As Director of Sales, he led the branch in revenue generation through 10 business development professionals who created sales from customers in Automotive, Finance, Marketing and other sectors.
In November 2007, Dan was promoted to Vice President and Area Director of the office, which manages all CIBER accounts within the Michigan area. As VP / AD, Dan oversees all office operations, including sales, delivery, personnel, marketing, and accounting.
Dan has 30 years of experience in information technology, including application development, project and program management, operations management, leadership, change management, and sales in both corporate and consulting services environments.
Prior to CIBER, Dan held consulting and business development management positions at America Online, Netscape and NCR. From 1993 to 1998, Dan owned and operated Paradigm Corporation and Meridian Consulting—firms specializing in program management and project rescues. Dan began his career as a programmer with Unocal’s Refining and Marketing Division in Schaumburg, IL, where he spent 16 years in various application development positions creating commercial applications in Finance, Marketing, Operations, and Crude Oil Management.
Dan lives in Bloomfield, Michigan.
